Clarks appoints president of Americas division

Footwear brand Clarks footwear has hired Geralyn Breig as president of its Americas division to take it to the “next stage of growth”.

Ms Breig is currently president of North America at cosmetics group Avon Products, where she led a recovery strategy that increased profit and reduced costs, and will join the footwear group on March 17.

“I am excited about adding Geralyn’s unique brand and business development experience to the proven footwear expertise residing in the team at Clarks,” said Melissa Potter, chief executive of C&J Clark International. “It’s a powerful combination to take us on the next stage of our growth journey.”
