Faytex expands in China

Company president, Cindy Stangl, said on announcing the development that the move was consumer- and retailer-friendly. She explained: “Our customers are already responding positively to the flexibility in price and product selection we are now able to offer. It allows line builders to present a consistent Dri-Lex comfort story from opening to top price-points.”
Faytex said it will now be able to deliver, at lower price points, products that offer footwear brands similar comfort, performance and durability to those of its best-seller, Dri-Lex Ultimate Suede. This product is often used in high-end boots and shoes, but it will now be easier for brands to use a lower-cost version of the technology in other shoes in their ranges, the company said.
In addition, Faytex has also recently moved to a new, larger headquarters in Guangdong, China, to accommodate growth in Asia, adding eight new members of staff in sales, product development, customer service and management roles. It has described this expansion as “necessary and logical”.
“These moves are reflective of our continuing commitment to the Asian side of our business,” Cindy Stangl said, “and will help us accelerate expansion plans there.”
