New president named at Stuart Weitzman

Footwear brand Stuart Weitzman Holdings has hired the former CEO of Prada and Miu Miu US as global president,  a new role which will encompass the global retail and wholesale businesses.

Francois Kress will report directly to CEO Wayne Kulkin, CEO, and will be based in New York.

Mr Kulkin said: "Francois will be a key catalyst in driving new initiatives as well as leading and collaborating with our talented management team already in place around the world."

Owned by the Jones Group, Stuart Weitzman operates 45 US stores, has 59 international stores and is sold in more than 80 countries.
