UK takes bigger share of Vietnamese shoes

Vietnam’s footwear exports to the UK have risen almost 10% in value for the first 10 months of this year.

Around $445.8 million of footwear entered the UK, 9.3% increase on the same period last year, according to Vietnam Customs and the General Statistics Office.

The country’s total export turnover to the UK stood at $3.16 billion from January until the end of October, a 32.2% rise on the same period last year.
