AAFA updates restricted substances list again

For the second time this year, the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) has updated its restricted substances list (RSL), publishing the thirteenth edition of the list, which covers apparel and footwear.

It identifies substances that are restricted in shoes and clothes with a view to helping companies with their sourcing decisions.

The new edition contains updates on the European Union’s REACH programme and the Korea Safety Quality Mark Act.
