Hi-Tec appoints new design director for the US market

Sports and outdoor footwear brand Hi-Tec has appointed a new product and design director for the US market, giving the role to Brian Cyr, who worked for the company between 2002 and 2006.

He will work on product development for the US, but will report to Hi-Tec’s global head of design in Amsterdam, Garie Sellar.

As well as his experience of working for Hi-Tec, Mr Cyr has also worked for Kamik, Timberland and Saucony. On announcing his return to Hi-Tec, he said: “I am thrilled to return to my roots and help this innovative company further expand in the US.”
