ANPIC reports visitor increase

The forty-second edition of the ANPIC leather and footwear exhibition, which took place in León, Mexico, from November 6-8, attracted more visitors than expected. Before the start, the organisers said they hoped to attract 13,500 buyers, but the total in the end was 14,500.

Of these, more than 30% were from the US, with 14% coming from Guatemala, 13% from Colombia, 8% from El Salvador and 6% from Italy.

More than 350 companies took part, showing materials and finished products for the autumn-winter 2014-2015 fashion season, occupying 13,000 square-metres of exhibition space.
