High-end Italian shoemaker Sergio Rossi is among the Kering brands set to offer a number of new internships in a bid to boost talent within their ranks after the group's CEO bemoaned a lack of talent in the lower ranks.

Internships will be offered in the style and creative departments and product development divisions among others, where brands “struggle to find key people”, said François-Henri Pinault, and will be based in Italy, France or Switzerland.

Mr Pinault, who also announced places at Gucci and leathergoods brand Bottega Veneta in colllaboration with Vogue Italia, added: “Attracting, retaining and developing talent is a priority for Kering and its brands.”
