Supply chain revamp pays off as Liberty’s sales grow 36%

Sales rose 36% to $17.4 million at the company, which has opened 25 stores this year and which produces 50,000 shoes a day at six manufacturing bases.
Its CEO, Adesh Gupta, said: "We are confident that the new product line and expansion in tier two cities will help us achieve more. Our emphasis has always been on providing quality and fashionable products and we will continue to invest and innovate and offer the best to our customers.”
Last year, the company revamped its supply chain to work on a low inventory model which reduced costs “significantly” and boosted exports to its 25 overseas markets.
