Pakistan increased the volume and value of its footwear exports during the recently ended financial year (July 2012-June 2013).

In terms of volume, global footwear companies sourced almost 12.9 million pairs from Pakistan over the 12-month period, an increase of 4.3% on the figure for the previous financial year.

The value of shoe exports in 2012-2013 was $103 million, an increase of 4.5% on the previous financial year.
