Delcam targets Vietnam footwear industry with new appointments

Initially, they will support sales of the Delcam CRISPIN range of software for the design and manufacture of all types of footwear in Vietnam, and later their responsibilities will extend to Cambodia and Laos.
Nguyen Van Van has 17 years’ experience as a CADCAM engineer. Twelve years of that time has been spent in the footwear industry, with part of it spent working for Delcam’s reseller, USMC.
Than Phung has spent four years in business development in the footwear industry in Vietnam and Cambodia.
Commenting on the appointments, Delcam Crispin’s business development manager for Asia, Graham Vollans, said: “Footwear manufacturing in Vietnam is showing all the signs of significant growth. We needed more people in the country to drive up our sales and to provide local support to our growing number of customers. The new staff will work closely with our local resellers to maximise the opportunity this growth presents.”
