Delcam targets Vietnam with two appointments

The pair will be based in Delcam’s Ho Chi Minh City office and will support sales of software for the design and manufacture footwear in Vietnam but later their responsibilities will extend to Cambodia and Laos.
Delcam is one of the world's largest suppliers of CADCAM software to the footwear industry and provides a complete 3D solution for the design and manufacture of lasts, uppers and soles.
Nguyen Van Van has 17 years' experience as a CADCAM engineer, 12 of which have been spent in the footwear industry, with part spent working for Delcam's reseller USMC.
Than Phung has spent four years in business development in the footwear industry in Vietnam and Cambodia, including experience with Coats Phong Phu, a UK company supplying sewing thread and zips to the apparel and footwear sectors.
Delcam’s business development manager for Asia, Graham Vollans, said "Footwear manufacturing in Vietnam is showing all the signs of significant growth. We needed more people in the country to drive up our sales and to provide local support to our growing number of customers. The new staff will work closely with our local resellers to maximise the opportunity this growth presents."
