Icebug insists it’s not “winter only”

Swedish footwear brand Icebug has said it will show off elements of its new spring 2014 range at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City (July 31 to August 3), as well as its proprietary insole technology, ArchFlex, to prove that it is not a “winter only” brand.

“Summer footwear and insoles are a logical expansion of the Icebug brand,” said North American director of sales and marketing, Evan Wert, in the build-up to the exhibition. He said Icebug was offering “year-around traction to the marketplace”.

For serious runners, walkers, and travellers, the company believes its proprietary BUGrip technology featuring carbide steel studs fixed into a specially developed rubber compound, provides “unparalleled traction over roots and rocks”.
