Gulf region expansion continues for Spanish high-end shoe brand

Luxury Spanish footwear brand Menbur has opened its third new store this year in the Middle East.

Granada-based Menbur, which began production as a leathergoods brand in 1967, has added a store in Doha, capital of Qatar, to stores it opened earlier in 2013 in Abu Dhabi and Kuwait.

Menbur, which specialises in high-end evening shoes for women, has said it intends to open further stores in the region in 2014, as well as outlets in Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Chile.
