Clarks to take over Brantano stores (for two weeks)

Footwear brand Clarks has entered into an agreement with shoe retail group Brantano, under which 150 Brantano stores in the UK will “turn into pop-up Clarks stores” for two weeks at the end of May and beginning of June.

Other footwear brands will continue to be on sale in the Brantano stores, but a spokesperson for the retail group told footwearbiz.com that the company wanted to drive awareness that Brantano stocks current-season Clarks shoes.

“We will be selling other brands, but within those two weeks we will be concentrating on Clarks,” the spokesperson said. “The takeover events are a great way to promote top brands to our customers, in locations that they might not be expecting, like retail parks. It’s a great alternative to shopping the High Street.”
