Change of name and of president for Danish industry body

Denmark’s footwear industry association has voted to change its name. The organisation previously went under the name Skoleverandør Forening (footwear suppliers’ association), but will now be called Skobranchen (footwear industry association) instead.

At its annual general meeting at the start of May, the organisation also elected a new president, with Peter Jørgensen of Esbjerg-based Sports Connection taking over. Mr Jørgensen is a former Hi Tec Sports executive.
