Cat launches made-in-America boot

Cat Footwear marketing manager Kelly Ballou said: “We felt that having an American made boot was critical to our line because of our rich heritage. Manufacturing is what our country was built on and we want to support that, even if we are doing it one boot at a time.”
The boot features leathers from Minnesota, stitching from Michigan, a sock liner from Massachusetts, laces from Rhode Island, a steel toe from Wisconsin and a slip resistant rubber outsole from Missouri. It is available in black and brown, steel and soft toe versions and was handcrafted in the Wolverine Worldwide factory in Big Rapids.
