High-tech membrane manufacturer Sympatex has boosted its sales force with the appointment of Kay Heldsdörfer, who joins the German company as a manager for outdoor and leisurewear.

He will be based in Munich and responsible for company’s growth in the UK, the Netherlands and Eastern Europe. He brings a wealth experience in the footwear, textile and functional sports sectors and previously worked at Nike and Clothing Network Event and Promotion in Germany.

Launched in 1986, Sympatex develops high-tech functional materials for footwear, clothing and accessories. Its membrane is breathable, wind- and waterproof, recyclable and PTFE- and PFC-free.
