GDS under way

Organisers said 1,140 exhibitors from a total of 39 countries had signed up to take part, presenting trends and looks for the 2013-14 autumn-winter season.
Well known brands taking part included regular attenders Birkenstock, Clarks, Converse, Gabor and Ho¨gl. Designer brands making their debut appearance at GDS included Class Roberto Cavalli Bags, Love Moschino, Michael Kors, M Missoni Bags and Shoes, Pirelli P Zero, See by Chloe´ and Versace Collection.
The organisers also said they expected high levels of excitement from a series of small, new collections by brands including Alinaschurfeld, Hester van Eeghen, Schmid, Veeshoo and Yijie in the Premium Area or from the bag collections Codex Novus, O Bag and Philomijn.
