Roberto Cavalli, Love Moschino, Michael Kors, M Missoni, See by Chloé and Versace are among the brands debuting at GDS shoe and bag exhibition in Dusseldorf next month.

From March 13 to 15 March, 840 exhibitors from 39 countries will be presenting the trends and looks for the 2013/14 autumn/winter order season.

They have been grouped into 11 “themed worlds” to reflect the different segments and 300 exhibitors will also be housed in the co-located Global Shoes exhibition.

Werner Matthias Dornscheidt, CEO of show organiser Messe Düsseldorf, said: “While the uncertainty in the eurozone no longer dominates the headlines, the economy in southern Europe has by no means recovered. The footwear industry is no exception, that’s why the number of exhibitors matches our expectations – especially because we’ve experienced growth in the prior years.”

Fila, Fluchos, G-Star and Rockford will be exhibiting in the Urban Area for the first time; Alinaschürfeld, Hester van Eeghen, and Yijie will be in the Premium Area; and Codex Novus, O Bag and Philomijn will be showing bag collections.
