Micam Shanghai will be an official Fashion Week event

Micam Shanghai will take place for the first time this year, from April 9-11.
ANCI president, Cleto Sagripanti, secretary general of the Shanghai Fashion Week organising committee, Feng Shao, and Enrico Pazzali, chief executive of Fiera Milano, the company that organises Micam, signed the agreement at a meeting in Shanghai in mid-January.
After the meeting, Mr Sagripanti said Micam wanted to “keep the flag of Italian production flying right across the globe”. He said that being included in the official schedule of Shanghai Fashion Week would expose the high-end Italian footwear brands that travel to Shanghai to take part to Chinese media coverage and to many potential buyers. He said the event would provide “an opportunity for significant expansion in the Chinese market”.
