Japan: Cambrelle plays its part in nuclear clean-up

With the clean-up ongoing, the Japanese Special Forces are working in such highly contaminated areas that the boots have to be replaced regularly.
“They’re very quality conscious and this specific application requires a high-quality product,” says Kieran O'Hare, chief executive of Camtex Fabrics, manufacturers of Cambrelle. “Our product had been specified in that boot, so we have seen increased orders to take account of the boots that have to be thrown away for safety reasons. While we are unhappy about the circumstances, we are pleased to be able to assist the Japanese Special Forces by supporting their feet, making an arduous task that little bit more comfortable.”
