Wolverine appoints president to drive growth

In this newly formed role, Mr Yates will be responsible for developing and implementing sales, marketing and product strategies in alignment with the brands' growth ambitions.
He will report directly to Ted Gedra, president of the Heritage Group, who said: “Todd has consistently demonstrated exceptional skills in leadership, strategic thinking and the ability to drive profitable, high double-digit revenue growth. He has the background and proven experience to drive strong growth for both the Wolverine and Hytest brands.”
Yates has more than 25 years of experience in the outdoor and apparel industries, including leadership positions with such brands as Woolrich, The North Face and Columbia. He has been with Wolverine Worldwide since February 2009, serving in the dual role of vice-president of marketing for Wolverine, Bates, Hytest and Harley-Davidson brands, and vice-president and general manager for Wolverine Apparel.
