International shoe fair GDS Select has revamped its website to offer more information to exhibitors and visitors as it gears up for its inaugural event in China.

Check-in data, partnership details and general show information are easier to access and the latest news and press releases have also been made available.

Preparations are well under way for the event at the Shanghai Exhibition Center next April, which will be held in a pavilion alongside the China International Footwear & Leathergoods Exhibition.

More than 70 brands will exhibit their collections to 7,000 visitors. "We know that ANCI Servizi also organises a similar trade fair. When we found out about it in April we offered ANCI a cooperation in order to bring all European brands together at one single trade show. We very much regret that ANCI opted to take a different avenue,” said Werner Dornscheidt, CEO of Messe Düsseldorf, the organiser of the show.
