Brands that made it on to Bread & Butter’s shortlist

02/11/2012
Sports and streetwear trade fair Bread & Butter has announced the exhibitors at next year's event – two months after saying it was to cull a quarter of its exhibitors.

At the time, its president, Karl-Heinz Müller, said that the steps were necessary as the show has to remain a “driving force” in the segment and so “must take on the responsibility”.

He added: “In the course of the next days, we will undertake the necessary measures to inform those brands and labels with whom we cannot continue to cooperate.”

The Berlin-based show, which takes place between January 15 and 17, will also revamp its layout in a bid to keep current.

Footwear companies that made the cut include Clarks, Crocs, Keds and
KangaROOS; sportswear brands include Fila, Gola, adidas, and Lacoste; and outdoor retailers include Barbour, Canada Goose and Wolverine.
