Alesha Dixon, star of UK TV programme Strictly Come Dancing, was among the celebrities attending the launch of Ireland’s biggest shoe department.

The area at Arnotts in Dublin features more than 50,000 pairs of shoes in 2,500 styles.

The 47 brands stocked include Vivienne Westwood Anglomania, Kurt Geiger, Carvela, Steve Madden, DKNY and Michael by Michael Kors.
