Adjustable heel heights at Camileon
Camileon Heels has launched a range of shoes offering adjustable-height
heel technology.
The company claims the innovation, which allows the
wearer to adjust from a 3.25 inch heel to a 1.5 inch heel without taking off
the shoe, could protect women’s feet and cut foot surgery rates significantly.
"This is an important moment in the history and
development of footwear, and an important milestone for women," said CEO, Sean
Flannery.
"If ever necessity was the mother of invention, this is
it. Thanks to this unparalleled development, women have a truly viable
alternative to prolonged wear of high heels. Camileon Heels offers women the
possibility to combine fashion, affordability, comfort and convenience -- all in
one shoe.”
Mr Flannery adds: "We know that the only real solution to
the physical problems associated with wearing high heels is to stop wearing
high heels. But we also know that most women are not willing to give up their
heels.
"Camileon Heels is the next best solution. They allow
women to limit the amount of time they spend in high heels, without sacrificing
their fashion needs.
"While several other brands address the need for comfort in women’s dress footwear, Camileon Heels is the only brand that provides a woman with the ability to reduce the amount of time she spends in the high heel position without changing her shoes."
The company currently holds patents in Australia, Japan,
Singapore, South Africa, China, Russia, Mexico, India and Brazil and is waiting
on patents for the US, Korea, Canada, Europe and Taiwan.
