Desma announces details of 2012 House Fair

Footwear machinery manufacturer Desma will again offer invited guests from across the industry a behind-the-scenes look at its technology development as well as providing insight into market developments and future trends at its 2012 House Fair, which will take place on September 17 and 18.

A total of 40 partner exhibitors will have products and services on display in a parallel exhibition.

Special presentations will take place in the German company’s remodelled automation centre showing technology for making light soles, rubber direct-soling with light PU midsole, direct soling with dual density rubber soles, TPU processing with automatic dosing of additives, production of moulded part soles with integrated orthopedic gel-cushioning, additive dosing for density reduction in PU moulded soles, PU boot production with and without placed rubber soles, plus upper design with flowing colours and laser work for logo and inscription.

A special exhibition in the Desma Mouldshop will complete the programme. Various types of shoe will be on view, together with special solutions for new types of sole.
