The Guanajuato footwear industry association (CICEG) has elected a new president, with Ysmael López García taking over from Armando Martín Dueñas.

Mr López said on accepting the role that he wanted footwear manufacturers in Guanajuato, Mexico’s most important footwear manufacturing state, to concentrate on design and innovation and to focus on promoting ‘Made in Mexico’ as a brand.
