Rogers Corporation executive to speak at sports engineering conference

Specialty materials and components manufacturer Rogers Corporation has announced that Dave Sherman, new business development manager for its Poron Cushioning range of products, has been invited to present at the ninth biennial International Sports Engineering Association (ISEA) Conference, which will be held from July 9-13, 2012 at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell.
 
The ISEA is a distinguished professional organisation for the rapidly growing discipline of sports engineering research and industrial development in the world.
 
The conference is held every two years and attracts industrial and academic research and development engineers.
 
“One just has to look at all the innovation in sporting good apparel and equipment today to recognise that it’s a very exciting time for those involved in sports engineering,” said Dave Sherman at the time of the announcement.  “I am honoured to speak at this year’s ISEA conference on behalf of Rogers Corporation and the years of research and development that it has invested to make Poron materials sought-after as an ingredient in footwear, apparel and protective-equipment brands.”
