American & Efird to celebrate zero liquid discharge

Specialist sewing thread manufacturer American & Efird (A&E) has announced an open house event at its Vardmhan A&E Threads factory at Perundurai in Tamil Nadu in India.

The event will take place on Thursday, June 21 and will be a demonstration and celebration of the company’s success in achieving zero liquid discharge in its thread dyeing operation. It is reusing all of the water it consumes in the operation and is therefore bringing its consumption down to a substantially lower level.

American & Efird has said it is proud of the achievement and is looking forward to sharing the details with a wide audience.
