ANCI says German consumers remain serious about Italian shoes

Italy’s national footwear manufacturers’ association ANCI has said interest in the collections on display at the Moda Made In Italy event in Munich at the start of the month confirmed interest in the German market for high-end Italian shoes.

More than 200 Italian footwear brands travelled to Munich to take part in this, the 38th edition of the show. Big-name brands including Baldinini, Rossetti, Franceschetti and Galizio Torresi were among those taking part.

Afterwards, ANCI president, Cleto Sagripanti, said:  “The German market is a catchment area in which target users are very interested in the quality of Italian products. The results were satisfactory in terms of numbers of visitors and orders placed.”
