Belle strengthens its status as a sports shoe retailer

The China Leather Industry Association has reported that the deal is worth around $146 million.
Belle makes and sells different types of footwear and already has 3,600 sports footwear stores in first-tier cities. For its part, Big Step has around 600 stores across China and, like the Belle stores devoted to sports footwear, sell mostly adidas and Nike products. The move will, therefore, make Belle an even more important partner for these big sports brands in the Chinese markets.
