Teva challenges customers to go a day without water

It said the idea behind the initiative was to raise awareness of the difficulty many communities in the developing world face in securing reliable supplies of clean water.
Participants were challenged by Teva to pick any single day in the period leading up to World Water Day and live one aspect of their lives without water for that 24-hour period. by challenging participants to stop using water in one area of their daily lives.
Possibilities the footwear brand suggested included no showers, laundry, teeth brushing and "waterless culinary creativity".
Marketing manager, Will Pennartz, said of the campaign: "Teva has a long-standing passion for clean water, the source of both life and our recreation," says Will Pennartz, Teva Lifestyle Marketing Manager. "It is our responsibility to help in the protection of these playgrounds for future generations. Through the World Water Day challenge we hope we can inspire a larger community to join us as we raise awareness for clean water."
