22/03/2012
According to the association, Germany remains one of the main markets for Italian-made footwear. During the first eleven months of 2011, Italian footwear brands exported 35 million pairs of shoes, with a combined value of EUR 865 million to Europe's largest economy. These figures represent increases of 8.8% in value and 1.9% in volume compared to the same eleven months the year before.
There was also an increase of 6.7% in the average price, which reached EUR 24.40 per pair.
In all, 204 Italian companies will take part this time, exhibiting their autumn-winter 2012-2013 collections, offering buyers in Germany and neighbouring countries what ANCI president, Cleto Sagripanti, calls the last chance to place orders for the coming autumn-winter season.
Among the famous labels with shoes on display will be Linea Marche, Baldinini, Accatino, Brunate, Franceschetti, Fratelli Rossetti, Galizio Torresi, Les Tres Jolis, Moda di Fausto, Aldo Brue and Pensato. There will also be new exhibitors, such as Duca del Nord, Mlin and Thierry Rabotin.
