Kanye West designs calfskin sandals with Guiseppe Zanotti

US rap musician Kanye West has designed a pair of sandals in collaboration with Italian footwear designer, Guiseppe Zanotti. The calfskin sandals which are embroidered with pearls were designed to accompany Mr West’s ‘Dw by Kanye’ collection at Paris Fashion Week in 2011.

The sandals are on sale for $6,000 dollars, according to Collete, the French boutique that sells the shoes.

Mr West reportedly paid numerous visits to Mr Zannoti’s studio in Italy in order to learn the craft of designing luxurious footwear.
