Crocs announces revenue will surpass $1b
US footwear firm Crocs has announced that for the full year, revenue will surpass $1 billion, representing an almost 27% increase from the year before. In the fourth quarter, the company has said that revenue will be at the high end of the its previous guidance of $200 million to $205 million.
CEO John McCarvel recently said one strategy in stores during 2011 was to offer more visual merchandising and more gifting opportunities with accessories, hats, gloves and socks. Clogs are less than half of the company’s business globally, he added.
