French footwear designer Christian Louboutin has announced that he will launch his first European transactional website in the new year. The brand’s online boutique will launch in early 2012 to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the opening of the label’s first shop in Paris.

As well as virtually browsing and shopping the spring/summer 2012 collection, consumers will also be able to purchase a selection of styles made available exclusively to the digital European market.

The website will also feature style advice via live web chats with a team of Christian Louboutin experts and an online picture book of the Parisian’s far-flung travels.
