Boots boost for DSW

Footwear retail chain DSW increased its third-quarter sales by 8.5% compared to the same quarter in 2010. Net sales for the quarter in 2011 reached $530.7 million.

Chief executive, Mike MacDonald, said DSW remained “a top choice for women’s footwear”, led by a strong performance in boots. “We are confident in our strategies and continue to expect fiscal 2011 to represent a strong year of growth,” he added.
