Indonesia: footwear exports to see modest growth
Footwear exports from Indonesia are likely to witness a modest growth in 2012, owing to the increased labour costs and the unfavourable global economic conditions, the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) has reported.
Indonesian footwear exports may grow at 10% next year from the estimated shipments worth $3.2 billion in 2011.
Indonesia exported footwear worth $2.6 billion during 2011 until October, according to the Indonesian Footwear Producers Association.
