Retail chain opts for Made in Spain

17/11/2011
Spanish retail chain I love 19,95 has announced that its 14 stores will start stocking own-brand shoes from next year.

In keeping with an ‘I love Spain’ theme that the company is launching, the new shoe collection will be made by outsource manufacturing partners in the country’s largest footwear manufacturing centre, Elche.

Comprising eight different models, the shoes will have price-tags of either EUR 49.95 or EUR 59.95.

“We have stocked footwear before,” company founder Julian Santos recently told local media, “but now the shoes will be 100% designed by us and made in Spain.”

The company has plans to expand into France, Italy and Portugal in the course of 2012.
