China: footwear exports up 18.3% in first ten months

According to data released from China’s General Administration of Customs, the country’s footwear exports for the first ten months of 2011 were $34.6 billion, up 18.3% from the previous year.

The total value of all exports for the month of October rose 15.9% to $157.49 billion and imports increased to $140.46 billion, increasing by 28.9% over the same month of earlier year.
