The dates of next year’s GDS events for shoes and accessories, held in Düsseldorf, Germany, have been confirmed as 14 to 16 March and 5 to 7 September, 2012.

The dates of the 2013 events have not yet been decided. Surveys are currently being conducted to identify visitors’ and exhibitors’ views and wishes, and will be evaluated over the next month before the results are discussed at the GDS advisory board meeting in November.

“We are currently looking at the GDS dates for 2013,” said Kirstin Deutelmoser, director of GDS and Global Shoes. “The various surveys conducted in trade and industry provide us with important indications that we will consider in our decision making.”
