Australian footwear brand expands to Europe
Australia-based sheepskin footwear brand Ukala Sydney is expanding its business into Europe. Founded in 2010, the brand is partnering with international retailers to expand its distribution.
The brand creates sheepskin boots made from Australian Micron20 Merino wool, and suede. The shoes also feature lightweight soles and reinforced heel cup for added support.
The autumn/winter 2011 collection will be sold throughout the UK through online retailers Sarenza.com and Amazon UK, as well as in speciality retailers including 40 USC stores and 200 selected Footlocker outlets. The brand is also looking to expand its distribution into 20 countries across Europe for 2012, as part of its strategy for growth.
