Pakistan: footwear makers head to Vegas

Pakistan plans to explore further possibilities in the North America market for leather products, garments and fashion accessories.

 

In order to increase its market share in North America, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has decided to subsidise participation of a delegation of Pakistan footwear exporters at the Magic Show, to be held in Las Vegas from 12-15 February, 2012.

 

It said the largest concentration of buying power is in North America. About 3,500 manufacturers will be present at the event, as well as top retailers with a share of over $150 billion in US apparel sales, according to the TDAP.
