Outdoor footwear brand Teva has announced its support for an organisation that runs adventure activities for cancer sufferers, First Descents.

First Descents was founded in 2001 to offer “adventure therapy” through activities such as whitewater kayaking, rock climbing, mountaineering and surfing. It has now announced its first ever surf-programme, which took place from September 11–17 in Santa Barbara, California, with Teva as sponsor for the entire week, funding all the activity.
