Lotto to expand number of Indian stores

Lotto India will go from 59 to 100 own-brand stores in the course of this financial year (April 2011-March 2012) the company has announced.

Lotto entered the Indian market in 2005 and has a licensing agreement extending up to 2025 with Sports Lifestyle for the production and distribution of Lotto brand products. Stores are already operational in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu, Assam, Uttrakhand, Gujarat, Orissa, Bihar and Nepal. Apart from mono-brand stores, Lotto is present in more than 180 shop-in-shops outlets in Shoppers Stop, Reliance Footprints, Central, Pantaloons, Planet Sports, Ritu Wears, Ebony, Standard Max and Chunmun.
