Three high-end speakers for luxury panel

The organisers of the World Leather Congress have confirmed three high-profile speakers for a special panel session at the event on the use of leather in luxury and high fashion.

Two of the speakers, Stefano Ferragamo and Diego Rossetti, represent Italy, while the third, Raymond Massaro, represents France.

Since 2000, Stefano Ferragamo has been the president of SF Consulting, a specialist consultancy advising high-end fashion houses about footwear and leathergoods. Diego Rossetti became the president of high-end footwear brand Fratelli Rossetti in April 2010.

For his part, Raymond Massaro is a board member of France’s Conseil National du Cuir. Earlier in his career, he helped his family firm make boots for stars such as Marlene Dietrich, Gina Lollobrigida, Shirley MacLaine and Elizabeth Taylor.

The World Leather Congress takes place in Rio de Janeiro on November 9.
