According to the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA), Yichin city’s export department has said that total foreign trade value surged 54.6% to $450 million in the first seven months this year, in which the export posted a year on year growth of 35.1%, rising to $370.

Footwear is thought to be the largest export product, representing 33.3% of the city’s total export value. In the first seven months its export value reached $100 million and surged by 41.1%.
