01/06/2011

The standard for children’s cloth rubber shoes issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) and Standardization Administration of China will come into effect on July 1, 2011, said Liu Huichun, general-secretary of The National Standardization Technical Committee for Rubber and Rubber Products on her recent visit to Quanzhou city. This is the first such standard for children’s cloth rubber shoes in China, she added.

To conform to the rapid growth of the shoemaking sector, the newly issued standard has put safety on top priority for strengthening the quality of children’s shoes and promotion of technical renovation in the sector, said Liu Huichun.
